India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for making a surprise visit to Ladakh amid border tensions with China and meeting the soldiers, saying that it has boosted the morale of the Indian Army.

Rajnath Singh thanked PM Modi for making a surprise visit to Ladakh amid border tensions with China. PM visited Ladakh along with CDS Bipin Rawat and asserted that we Need to Fight strongly against our Enemies.

This came in the backdrop of the expectations that Rajnath Singh along with Army Chief MM Narvane may visit Ladakh. 

PM Modi reached Leh and then he moved to Nimoo after which he will be returning back to Delhi where he is going to chair a High level meeting.
