India to equip Sukhoi's and Mig's with Astra Mk-1

The Navy is soon going to equip its Fighter jets with State of the Art Astra Mk-1, which is an Indigenously built Air-to-Air missile.

MoD has authorized the acquisition of around 250+ Astra Mk-1 missiles for both Navy and Air force. The Navy is getting around 50 Missiles and rest will be given to Indian Air Force.

The Government has authorized this acquisition after the clash with the China in Galwan Valley.

The Government allowed tri-services to procure weapons according to their needs. For that purpose the Defence Ministry approved an Emergency fund for these Procurements.

Indian Government ordered the Modernization of all Air force and Army bases near the LAC and LoC.

In a recent decision the Government deployed its famous and Elite Special Forces along China Border.

Recently the Navy had been ordered to strengthen its bases in Andaman and Nicobar Islands to ready to block Malaka Strait to Stop China.

To boost morale the PM Republic of India Mr. Narendra Damodar Das Modi made a Surprise visit to Ladakh amid border tensions with China and went to Nimu a forward base in Ladakh. He also met with the Soldiers who fought PLA cowards troops.

This induction is a boost to Atmanirbhar initiative started by the government of India. This will boost the Indian Weapons Industry.
